engadget.com — The Blu-ray 2.0 spec (or BD-Live) is just days for launch. Sony just announced that the next PlayStation3 firmware updated -- v2.20 -- will add the new interactive features to your PS3 in "late March." My, aren't we full of ourselves? If an in-game XMB is a deal breaker for you, then you obviously are just clamoring for excuses to not buy a PS3. So, shut the hell up about it. When they do finally roll out with that feature, what will you bitch about next? The fact that it doesn't do your homework? Doesn't give blowjobs? Won't run Bitorrent?

you never got it? oh okay well i'll explain it to you. M$ is a whore and wants to make as much money as it can, even if it's at the cost of making a half assed console they just want to get out there and make the most money possible. Ps3 at the very least is a console you can trust is going to work for a long time because sony took it's time to make it.

I have also been a bit disappointed with the linux on ps3. Its not x86 and I knew that. However, I didn't expect the graphics to be so restricted.Still, I have MythTV frontend running on it pretty happily so not all is bad. As far as flash is concerned - open source GNASH - will be life savers in the next year.

@DarkShroud: Toshiba was the largest manufacturer, but Onkyo, Samsung, LG, RCA and a few Chinese import companies all released HD-DVD devices. And as of the moment, Blu-ray prices have increased, not decreased. That's what removing competition does to markets.
