@marvin69: "When you take shrapnel in the game the batter explodes and burns you." You know, I had that happen to me playing the Create Your Own Onion Rings game.
Since they don't rumble and they're bluetooth, I'm expecting them to have an exceptionally long battery life. How short the *fuse* is, on the other hand..
2 years? Ok let's work it out..If the product life cycle of the PS3 is going to be 10 years. And a controller dies every 2 years. And each controller is erm.. Let's say, £15? To be modest.5 x 15 = £75 or around $140 of your American dollars. Now let's say the same thing about the Xbox360, because you don't have to buy a new controller, let's say each Battery for the controller lasts for 2 years. And let's say we are running on the 10 year product life cycle. And battery's can be what? Around £5-£7 these days? Let's say £7!5 x 7 = £35. (around $65)So you're saving around £40 ($75) give or take.See, It's not hard to put a cap under a controller to get access to the battery's, but I guess Sony has to make up for some of it's loss by sabotaging (sp?) their own controllers.

You do realize they are making hard-wired controllers too? They don't require batteries, so in 50 years or whatever you want you can still play it.
