Yet ANOTHER bulls**t "anecdotal" piece with ZERO evidecne.In other words..LIES.PS3 are NOT being returned en masse. They are still selling out in most places within the first few hours. And Nintendos are ALSO not selling out within minutes in some sotres. Like the PS3, ther eare rare occurrences where they stay on shelves for hours.

@Jaq524: Retail stores might track sales month over month or even week over week. Let's say that last week, they sold 200 PS3's. But this week, they only sold 60, and 150 were returned. That means that, this week, they sold -90.It's probably the effect from all those guys who thought they could sell it on eBay at a profit, now realize that they can't, and are trying to return it before the return policy timeframe ends.

Enough is enough... for god sakes people, stop posting this baseless s**t. I'd really like to know where this PS3 stockpile is being kept because I have never seen a PS3 in stock anywhere since it launched and I know plenty of people who desperatly want one. By the claims on this site PS3s are everywhere sitting idle. If thats the case then the distributors need to do some research and ship every one of them here to Maryland/VA because I guarentee they will sell out in minutes.

why people return ps3? i got a ps3 40gb from my birthday, adn i start to study his aspects, and i discover that. the 40gb ps3 don't play ps2 games. thats crazy i have hundreds ps2 games. and ps3 80gb run ps2 games thats why they stop to made . so i had luck and get one those for ebay. and return my 40gb i think 40 % those peoples do the same ...
