i think most people were expecting the headline to read PS3 to get GAMES in 2008, when instead they are working on a dvr, probably a year away, which most people have in their house anyway or can get very cheaply
just through a HDHomerun on your network and let sony integrate that. Seems like the best solution to me. 2 digital tuners and nothing else has to be plugged into the ps3.
That is only for a short time and only on the 60GB models since they are done manufacturing them. It will shoot right back up to $600 when all the 60GB models get sold out.
Wow, M$ and the Wii really kicked Sony's @ss this time around. Wheres the better online experience and games? - the MAIN reason most buy a console. This is a gimmick at best and I cant see it being implemented well enough to beat my dual tuner HD-DVR cable boxes from comcast.I pay comcast like 8 bucks a month for a full native HD tuner and it works great. Problem with purchasing DVR's is you can exspect the HD's to die in them pretty quickly. I have two cable boxes at home and had to replace both of them due to HD failure. I can just imagine how much it will cost PS3 users to replace their HUGE 60 and 80 GB HD's once the DVR load eats them allive. If this is all true, nice try Sony.

HD PVR with a 80GB PS3? pretty terrible storage space! I certainly hope you can add an external hard drive. If so, this will make me want a PS3.

how about games, how many rocking exclusives does ps3 have and when can I expect to play halo 3 on it, or real online games.
