you can do something else whill listening to music... just press the PS butten. Oh yeah about the blurry thing: The ps3 selects the background on what type of music you are playing. so of your backgrounds look like s**t, your music is s**t. Play something else :P
I agree with you about PSN. They seem to only put crappy trailers and crappy mini games up there. Trailers would be ok if they would put stuff like the MGS4 trailer up or something like that, but instead we get trailers for a game about some dude named Drake and a red-headed asian chick. Heavenly Sword looks like it might be a decent game, but the trailer was pretty lame in my opinion. The Ratchet trailer was the only one I actually enjoyed. The movie trailers are lame...I have to watch those at the beginning of movies I buy anyway.Looks like they added a demo of super rub-a-dub and a demo of Go!Puzzle... wow, exactly what I want to play on my PS3... Most of the actual game demos up there suck pretty bad too. The music in Virtua Tennis made me want to energetically destroy my PS3 (would be an OK game if I could change the music...played the demo on mute); Full Auto 2's framerate is atrocious; Def Jam: Icon....ugh; MLB 2K7 looks like crap compared to the 360 version; RR7 is OK; GT:HD is OK; Ninja Gaiden is the best game on there (and it's a remake of a remake); The camera in Genji killed it. Not only is the interface for PSN horrible (even worse on an SDTV), but the network is SLOW. The only time downloads go at a decent speed for me is at the screen where you choose your account (I have 2 accounts on mine) right after you turn the system on. Once I pick an account, download speeds drop dramatically. I wouldn't mind waiting longer for firmware updates if they would just get the PSN in order. I'm not asking for another XBL, but what they got now seems pretty half-assed.
Well that would be neat and everything, but the are real practical enhancements we could all use actually:1. perhaps a little DivX support in the media player, so we don't have to jury-rig transcoding on the fly (never EVER gonna happen, I know)2. maybe get the media player to play unbounded streams (no Content-Length header) (disable ff/rw seeking in the player)3. maybe get it to recognize the HD movies on an avchd camera when it's plugged it in... (I should be able to copy them to the local drive at least, and after all, it is their format)
Yes, 1.8 did come out (over 1 month ago, okay) and it is a great step forward I agree. If you read the comments above, it was sagags who initiated the 'wish' list by asking for the ability to set wallpaper, of all things.I figured if someone were to ask for features, they might as well be useful ones. So I volunteered mine. I initially was confused as to why this action would get buried, but then I remembered this is digg...I respectfully disagree with you that sharing a features wishlist is "silly." Except in the case where the feature requested is itself frivolous.
by the way, i own three lexus sedans. i hate the way the seats stab me in the back. is that supposed to be a luxury car? lexus needs to fix it FAST!!! im so tired of the incessant pain from driving my luxury car!!!!!!...get my point?
