thinkprogress.org — A new AP-Ipsos poll finds that 34 percent of conservatives have not read a book within the past year, compared with 22 percent of liberals and moderates. Among those who had read at least one book, conservatives “typically read eight” books in the past year. Liberals read nine, moderates five.

Foxy? Mann Coulter is foxy? I dunno, those freakishly long skeletor hands and enormous adam's apple don't seem to do it for me.

A pro liberal result using a questionable poll published on the propaganda site "think progress"? buried.Anyone who aligns themselves to one side (conservative/liberal/libertarian/anarchist etc) without even considering the other side (apart from personal attacks and ill-educated opinions/'facts') is the biggest idiot of them all - wait thats most of digg.

If conservatives were reading Tolstoy, we'd all be in trouble. this liberal recommends Pat Buchanans book "Where the Right Went Wrong: How Neoconservatives Subverted the Reagan Revolution and Hijacked the Bush Presidency." Get if from the mouth of a real conservative if you can't handle hearing it from a liberal.I don't agree with everything he believes in, but liberals try to keep an open mind. Pat is dead on in his analysis of what happened in the Bush admin.

I wonder which side read The Communist Manifesto more often?

It's refreshing to know liberals read Dick and Jane.I was trying to figure out what manual they were using to mess up this nation.

This is just more divide and conquer crap from a clearly partisan organization that probably couldn't give you the classic definitions of liberalism or conservativism to begin with. The meanings of those two sides of the political spectrum have been so warped that the words are almost meaningless.Buried.

Do we? Maybe if you read a few more books, your grammar wouldn't be so lousy.

comic and coloring books don't count. Neither does reading AP articles or polls.

"Sure [capitalism] works, but who does it work for? Certainly not the majority of people."Right. That's why, as the most capitalistic country in the world, we have the highest standard of living and most wealth. Damn, if only we could have it like China! Imagine how much better our country could be if we got rid of even more obstacles and allowed people to live their lives.

I wonder which side would actually be able to understand the Communist Manifesto?
