This is more common than you would think I have found two two headed snakes in my life both were Gopher snakes. One was in the hills above LA and the other one was in the Mohave Desert. I have seen others offered for sale in pet stores and one at the LA Zoo when I was a kid.

If you have a dictionary at home, look up "freak" and you might find another picture of a two-headed snake.
