Sort of reminds me of how phase cancellation works- if you play a sound back at itself with the same amplitude and reversed polarity it literally cancels the sound. Noise canceling headphones use this to phase out noise. Though I am not nearly smart enough to know if this is possible with light. I bet someone here is though :)

If the faster you go the slower time passes then maybe because I'm old and slowing down time seems to go faster! Hmm! Oh well, like the old saying, "age is like a roll of toliet paper, the closer to the end the faster it goes".
