@arpad - That's exactly what I was thinking. He was a smart dude, no doubt, but he did get caught. Also, that pistol isn't exactly groundbreaking. Personally, I was expecting something a bit more refined. I could make something better looking than that.
I have a shop in my garage - I assure you that any competent woodworker or auto mechanic could whip up a basic zipgun without much trouble.Banning the manufacture or sale of handguns would only increase the profit margin for people to smuggle or produce illicit guns. The people who got THOSE guns wouldn't be licensed, registered or trained.
"Hey assface, he made EVERYTHING he used, including the screws. He most assuredly believed what he wrote."I'm sure he did make everything himself. But I fail to see how making something yourself means that you're not employing technology. If I make a cold fusion reactor in my garage does that mean it's somehow not "technology"? Seems hypocritical to me too.
@BGFeltenink "You're seriously calling a gun "technically advanced?" They've been around for hundreds of years man... It's pretty freaking simple too."So has electricity and running water, but he shunned those things as too advanced. I mean the guy went to such lengths as to make bombs out of freaking wood. For someone who is militantly pushing primitivism, I would say that actually was that was rather advanced technology.

He's like one of those mad scientist.I am sure if given enough time, he could build a nuclear bomb in his basement.
