there's no way this pic was taken with an electron microscope. They basically only use that to see parts of cells which can't be seen with tradition light or fluorescent microscopes. This ant is at least 3mm long...long enough for a normal camera.they could have used b&w film.
First they have to kill it, so the electron microscope can take a picture (requires a vacuum). After that it's just a matter of finding small enough tweezers ;)
