These same "plastics" could be made from hemp. They would be completely biodegradable and the impact to Mother Earth would be negligible. Isn't it amazing that hemp is illegal to grow? It has little if any THC but will get you a wake up call from the DEA.Do a little research and you'll find that Dow Industrial as well as other plastic manufacturer's were instrumental in the illegalization of hemp. What's even more compelling is that hemp was practically mandated as a crop during WWII. It can be used as a food source, a cotton replacement, fuel, plastics, and on and on and on. It has NO use as a drug! You could smoke hemp all damn day and all you'd get from it is pissed off that you got sold some "weed". That's all it is - a f**king weed that grows anywhere, with little need for irrigation and soil manipulation but is illegal thanks to the fact that it would put big money interests out of business. Sure am glad the unConstitutional "War on Drugs" is keeping us safe from the most beneficial plant ever known to man. (Maybe we could make hemp bullets for combating the unConstitutional DEA?)Where are you tree huggers when it matters? We should grow a couple thousand acres of hemp and have a couple thousand of us guarding it. Should the unConstitutional DEA show up, we'll leave it up to them to instigate combat. Should they do so, we dispatch them with extreme prejudice. There are 10,000 of us for every one of them. Why are we putting up with their bulls**t?
