hardocp.com — Our sources tell us that some/all of the top management has left PC Club / Club IT as of today without giving prior notice to employees. Today during business hours, PC Club’s HQ store had its doors locked and the closed sign out.

Hey wacom01 :) You are the tech that was working on my PC. Hopefully, you will be back to work with others tomorrow. If so, I'll see you sometime tomorrow afternoon! I'm gonna swing by after I run some errands.

No the one in Tustin, CA. Though I was just in Denver (well Aurora) for business wish I knew there was a microcenter there because I ended up needing something.

Love what? Their failure? We all lose in the end.

To MASTERPL (Chris)Come on man.. We know you got fired because you screwed up so many things. Big time!!! As far as your tech skills, I am not really impressive.. The asian manager treated us pretty well and it is not true like you said he does not speak English well at all. How does he run the store if he can not speak good English?? And I think he knows more tech stuff than you do.... So when you point your finger to anyone, go think about yourself first. And try to BE HONEST..... DONT BS!!! OK?? Quit being a crying baby OK??

Hey everyone, I managed several PC Clubs during Jacksons time (san diego, escondido, carlsbad) and very sad to hear things ended this way. The stores were a great learning ground for techs and geeks of all kinds and I appreciate the experience and career growth. It's too bad PCC and Compusa are closed; sometimes i think there is great opportunity for someone to meet customers computer needs however it was the relationships with taiwan and china distributors that allowed PCC to do so well.....i guess before it started to do so poorly....to bad really, Andrew would have been a great company leader

The manager/Kevin from CCBF was corrupt and didn't care who he hurt as long as he came out on top... I used to work at PC CLUB/CCBF and I'll tell you that the manager treated me and others like $&!* and choose favorites with some of his spy's as I call them. There was this time where I was at the Cash register helping a customer when the phone rang and a lady said, "This is dez, is Kevin there..?" I said yes can you hold a min. then I yelled "KEVIN LINE 1 DEZ!!"(Dez was another manager from the CCAZ I think but not sure) so I went on with my work... Well about 10 mins later Kevin comes and says i need to speak with you in the back... I said sure.... HE ACTUALLY GOT MAD AT ME BECAUSE OF HIS OWN CHEATING FAULT... the person that called was his Wife but I swear when she asked for him she clearly said Dez... so obviously he got caught or his wife was suspicious of him because she knew her name... so weeks went by hadn’t herd anything else but started to get allot of pressure to quit like low LOW hours and Kevin kept saying PC CLUBs not for everyone... WTF is that suppose to mean... and the story goes on... I have come to find out later that this was his second wife and he cheated on the first as well... So skew Kevin he can sck dckand theres more but ill just agree @MASTERPL he made me mop.. clean the bathroom and the closet of a break room and the frige.... then I started to notice i was doing it every week.. so I approached him and asked if I can start switching off with other employees and the B!t(h said no!!! So i asked why and he said and I quote "You shouldn't of dun it so good the first time."So again KEVIN YOU CAN SCK DCK!!!!

I myself worked at the PC Club Tacoma location, best store Ive ever seen in my life, and believe me, not because of the company name it bore, but because of the company it housed. PC Club blows, good prices and retail discounts for parts is all it was good for, our tech team was too limited to be able to do anything good for our customers so another (as will remain unnamed) company was spurned from its doors privately as on site service. we were lucky enough to carry our professionalism through to our customers and and hold faith as technicians rather than PC club employees when things got bad. Luckilly i got out of PC Club in the major decline due to a fallout with sub-management in store, I left to obtain a job at a major telecommunications provider now. Local management rocked our manager made a huge point to take care of employees the best she could and ass manager and yes I mean ASS manager was a crook. it was like a business fight as if MSFT tried to take over apple with hostilities. Regardless of the in house quarrels brought on by declining pay from corporate, all employees i worked with there were awesome in tech knowledge and i learned alot on top of what I went there with. I was only there for about 4 months but TBH was the best time of my life. This place is what got me to love the computer industry and the looks on peoples faces when we got the job done and back up and running for less than what they throught it would cost. But I would like to give props to those at the tacoma store ( and u know who u are) that strived to push the expectations of people and build a reputable business in the ashes of a horrible planned one. I still get calls from some of the customers I assisted at that store while meeting increasingly strict requirements for sales and tech work. Which, by the way, was never clarified wether I was a tech or sales, and I remained in probation throughout my whole employment though it was nearing 60 days after I was supposed to get my evaluation. The time came for me to move on to greener pastures, which now include major telecommuncations, 100K plus salary and my own private business on the side to keep me entertained by making people smile. All i have to say is thanks to Clark, Mary, Ryan, Jamie, and unoffically Jerry and Peter. Jonas, never knew u but u didnt get nosy and assh**ish about the policies and let us try to keep our store open by retaining customers, we appreciate that. To whoever the guy is that came in as RM after Jonas before the closing, Bro u got issue. go get a life or get laid or find a prostitute or something either way man relax, life is supposed to be fun, the 3rd Reich is dead let the nazi thing go yall lost the war. and for those of yall that know, YES MY NAME IS SEAN, PEACE OUT, GL to the Syndicate, and clark, next time think twice before taking a PC from someones handswhen theyre working on a job for a customer and telling them to go andwer the phone, cause in the long run u lost more than that 500 bucks u gained with that move, GL and good riddance clark, PS, love ya mary, Jamie, Jerry, and Ryan best of wishs to yall.

I used to work for PC Club in Las Vegas and Henderson, NV. Had some real jerks for managers, the last one used to make "special" deals for his friends.I have been trying to call the Las Vegas store for 2 days now and I keep getting recordings from the phone company. Called OO and they said there is a problem with the phones there. There does not seem to be a website for PC Club anymore so I guess there isn't a PC Club anymore, darn! Used to get some good deals there. I guess it's off to Fry's now.

I built my first computer with the parts I bought from the store in Santa Ana, CA. That was my only experience with PC Club but it taught me a lot since I have built a few more since. I actually enjoy building one from scratch. Definitely works better than the junk off the shelves. Anyway, I upgraded that original build and ended up giving it to my brother so he could save some money instead of buying a new one.If nothing else, it was a good place to learn the basics of what you really needed to build a system. It's a shame for the workers but it's that old line of "bad corporate management not bad employees that destroyed the company." You can apply that to any business that has failed during this economy and ones holding their hands out for bailout money.

I used to go to the PC Club Industry location and kind of shocked to find out it closed. I found another site which has information on PC Club now that I can't access the main site. It's www.pcclubnet.com. Ah... old time memories.

pc workshop was started by a few employees of PC Club. They opened stores in previous PC Club locations San Bernadino and Fresno. We did something similar up here in Oregon, www.oregonpcservice.com We are located in same location as previous Clackamas PC Club.

I was a technician at the AZAT location in 2005-2006 and remember talking to my former co-workers many times about how I didn't see the company lasting more than a few years longer. With the way the company was run, there was no way it was going to last. I definitely missed my co-workers but can't say I ever missed the inventory nights lasting until 2am. I'd have to say the thing I miss the most about that job was the challenge of working on 8-9 computers at a time...actually having to use your brain and doing something you like to do. It's not often you find jobs like that. I'll never forget my manager calling me and telling me they closed the doors. I remember getting ready to come to work and getting a call saying it was over. Just like that. We had no warning. Closed the store one night, wasn't there the next day. That was about what you could expect from the upper management of that company. Anywho, can't say I didn't see it coming. It really sucks for the people that got screwed by the company-wide closure.
