I guess the scariest part about this whole "war" thing is that Bush wasn't elected in EITHER election. He lost the popular vote along with massive voting irregularities in Florida AND more voting fraud in Ohio in 2004 (people are actually being prosecuted for this right now). My problem is that both elections shouldn't even have been that close. I think this era will be looked back on in history as the beginning of America's long decline from *the* world power to a second rate country that has collapsed under the weight of it's hubris and debt bloat. It's frustrating to watch a bunch of imbeciles slowly destroy something you love (imbeciles = Bush, Cheney, and every single person who voted for them)http://wtcctr.blogspot.com
I don't subscribe to this bush Jr and bush Sr wanted an unstable Iraq. Had bush senior wanted that he would have continued the first gulf war. What I see is two power hungry know it alls thinking they know whats best (or what will push their movement forward) and a puppet who was fed hand picked information so that the dynamic duo could get what they want.Cheney and Rumsfeld are the masterminds here and used many people to play their game whether they were aware of it or not (Powell, Bush Jr, George Tenant, Jay Garner, etc).
My beef with Powell is that he didn't immediately go to congress and press that they seek Bush and Cheney's immediate resignation knowing what he knew about the war and the fabricated reasons for starting it it was his patriotic duty.
And clinton and the un ignored the ethnic cleansing of the christian serbs by the albanian muslims. it wasn't a one way street. Clinton murdered many innocent Serbs. didn't clinton also bomb innocent civilians.
I watched the whole thing. What saddens me most of all is that the worst that will happen is that they will be called incompetent. If there was justice in this world, Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Bremer, Wolfowitz and every single slimeball involved in this crime against our nation, the world and humanity would spend the rest of their lives in Iraq cleaning up the mess they made, witnessing first hand the consequence of their arrogance. The fact that they are not in a prison cell, and instead remain in office, soon to retire in comfort and wealth is a travesty. They are as bad, if not worse, than Saddam Hussein ever was.
