That was the whole point of the article. This stuff is relatively modern (from the 70's, and has been increasing dramatically in use since), therefore we have yet to see the long-term effects of it.The same thing happened with asbestos and lead paint. People thought it was fine for quite a while, but later saw that it was quite harmful.

Hmm PDBE's could be at a toxic level for us in 3 to 5 years from what the article states, interesting. I say we also ban Cigarette's, they have been killing us on a regular basis for over 50 years. IMO a ban and closure of all cigarette's and cigarette manufacturer's will save millions and help decrease pollution and the waste of cigarette butt's on streets and sidewalks and anywhere else those lazy bastards throw them when they finished their puff.

I've met some, hard to say the cause though.The reasoning in some of the above posts is more evidence of "impaired learning".
