torrentfreak.com — eDonkey and BitTorrent users caught up in the latest Logistep anti-piracy sweep haven’t got much to smile about, facing threats, legal action and for many, accusations that are simply untrue. For those who would prefer not to have their privacy invaded by Logistep in the future, this anti-piracy cloud has a silver lining.

awspire: See http://digg.com/tech_news/Do_P2P_Blocklists_Keep_you_Safe - The short answer is that of course blocklists are not foolproof, but they are a HELL of a lot better than nothing. And only retards install virus-infested warez. Besides, most everything on BitTorrent is clean - if it's not, it won't get seeded.

With most BitTorrent clients, I use Azureus, you can choose to download the entire album or just one song from it. In other words, you don't have to download the whole torrent, you can grab individual files.

Does it really matter how you get it so long as you do get it? Without being caught of course. ^_^

Does it really matter? File sharing will always exist and there will always be little done to deter it. I am of the opinion that if its digital and in need people will always find a way to get access. Over the years, the hundereds of gigabytes i've shared - I have only gotten a handfull of "legal notices" from comcast.net telling me that they have been notified of copyrighted material i have been sharing. i've ignored every notice and nothing has ever been done. maybe someday some type of legal action might be taken against me but so far it seems like a lot hot air.

Quote:"Protocol Obfuscation is a feature which causes eMule to obfuscate or "hide" its protocol when communicating with other clients or servers. Without obfuscation, each eMule communication has a given structure which can be easily recognized and identified as an eMule packet by any observer. If this feature is turned on, the whole eMule communication appears like random data on the first look and an automatic identification is no longer easily possible."/End quote. You realize you already outlined his paragraphs with " already right? plus, it would be not quote: and /end quoteplus, well I dont know, I didn't actually read what you had to say
