engadget.com — Reports of iPhones exploding, starting fires and killing people in cold blood have been around since the inception of the handset. They've also been relatively sporadic, seemingly short on evidence, and Apple hasn't given complaints much credence or response.

There's a simple answer for this. A replaceable battery. Of course that would ruin Apple's cash cow of replacing batteries.
osko2052Aug 29, 2009
What do you do then when the battery goes dead and you are nowhere near an outlet? What's your plan for that? It would be no problem for Apple to have a user replaceable battery. They just don't want to. Lithium ion batteries don't last 2-3 years Apple fanboy.

Yeah and how much bulk does that add to the phone? It's already too big, fanboy. I will stick with my blackberry with it's replaceable battery. I get 10-12 hours with constant data usage.

This is what happens when companies try to make smaller gadgets and cram old battery technology into them.

Yeah I agree. It is strange that these cases are only reported in France. Only reports state side are of overheating iPhones.

I refuse to dignify your post with a response. So far you have called me a dumbs**t and a douche. I called you a fanboy which isn't even close to the abuse you dished out to me.
