i.gizmodo.com— We've been fiddling around with the Windows 7 Beta for a few days, but just now finally run into that old friend of Windows users: the blue screen of death.

Hahah I can just SEE a "Pink Screen of Deth" that would be great.I was wunning.. er, yah "wunning" 6801 and I updated it to 7000 and I lost my Gadgets. But I like it, 7000 is way better than 6801.
Apple fanboi here says:So what? it's Beta. Do you want these guys working on getting the system solid or making the FAIL page looking pretty?Buried for the pointlessness of the article.
Im running 7 on an atom based eee. It runs fast and is quite stable. It will sometime bsod if I have an office application open when the computer tries to sleep or hibernate (mostly outlook). Vista would not run worth a crap XP is tired. I like 7. I like the changes to the UI. I like the BSOD! It lets me know what went wrong and I can fix it. Anyone having issues streaming to xbox360 with 7's media center?
If you know where to look, the Mac writes out plenty of info about system crashes (and just about everything else going on.) But even if you don't know where to look, it's easy enough to hold down Apple+V while booting to see the verbose startup. Even moderately competent geeks can see where a problem is with that. Not rocket science exactly. But that's the thing. You have to know what you're doing and where to look. Just because OS X doesn't shove it right into your face doesn't mean it isn't there. And from my experience, the info shown in the BSOD generally isn't very useful anyway. I'd much rather troubleshoot an ailing Mac with all the info it writes to the system logs instead of deciphering a BSOD. You generally get very descriptive info in OS X's system logs and can see a record of what was going on when things went to hell.
