alphadogproductions.net — In 1992 Dan Poole made the original Spiderman movie. An independant production, it was intended as a demo-reel for then director James Cameron who was set to direct the 2002 Sam Raimi Spider-man movie. Very interesting. I like this costume much more than the one in Spider-man.

Very, very bad. However, that Batman vs Alien vs Predator one was pretty decent for a fan flick.

People, these videos were early screen tests from 1992! You don't go all out for just screen tests. They didn't have the technology back then like we do now. Screen tests are designed to show to directors and actors to see if they'd be interested in doing the films. The actors in this film were likely students from acting schools looking to make a little tuition money. If anyone paid attention, a lot of what's in these screen tests was actually a fairly close facsimile to what ended up in the movies nearly a decade later.Just be thankful it took nearly a decade before the actual movie came out, otherwise yes, it could have been a lot worse.

THANK YOU ModernTenshi. Clearly someone here understands what this is. Everyone going on about how bad it was. This was 1992. No miniDV folks. To edit on a computer would cost a fortune. This may not be a stellar peice of work but it's made on virtually no budget. Look at Terminator. They had a multi-million dollar budget and their effects were pretty sucky. As for the comments regardign me being involved i had nothing to do with this. I just thought it was an interesting peice of spiderman history. if you don't like it then thats fine. as ice spade said "If you can look past the corny and cheap effects its a very faithful adaptation of the Spider-man character, as opposed to the whiney bitch he is portrayed as in the current films, even though I love them." that's what this digg was supposed to be all about.
