Feel inspired and confident that there is hope for the future. We must ensure that as many people as possible hear the Lib Dem message. It is no good saying that this is what we want if we are not prepared to get out of our chairs and actively support the Lib Dems.
If only Vince Cable was in No 11 Downing Street The Banks and The Utility Providers would not be having a Field Day. But who at No 10 ?? Ah! there's the question that needs a debate!
Make the Web and the Liberals stronger. If you watched the stitch up on TV over the Police entering Parliament - democracy pantomime- with a Labour Stitch up. We have to get them out !
Amen, amen, amen. I now know that we live in a Police State. I thought that enough of the Labour party retained the integrity to vote for our constitution irespective of the party whip - I was wrong. I am thankful that I am in the latter years of my life so won't have to live under ersatz totalitarianism for too long!
Very refreshing. Clegg and Cable are the only ones talking sense. Nobody's fooled by the temporary VAT cut. How does making an imported flat-screen TV a couple of quid cheaper help our economy? The Government is clutching at straws. Give people their money back, let them decide what to do with, and when to spend it.
Who has been talking sense about the economy and what should be done to put the problems right? I think you have to say that Vince Cable has been right all along - even the media has said as much. So who would you choose as the next Chancellor of the Exchequer - Alistair Darling (Lab), George Osborne (Con) or Vince Cable (Lib Dem)? Is there any real doubt if a good choice is made? Vince Cable would be an excellent Chancellor and Nick Clegg a great leader. It's time for a change - we can make it happen if we all vote Lib Dem!
While politics cannot solve everything, having a fair voting system (which has already transformed Scotland) and a fair tax system would really help. Why not remove NI and have tax bands progressively at 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%? Governments could then only change the entry points to each band. Simple and fair. Gift Aid could apply at 30% (possibly for all). The LibDems have many of the answers.....
I preferd it when the red haired Scotsman was leader of the party, sorry i forgot his name, he was perhaps a bit to honest and truthful for the party and willing to speak out thats why he turned to the booze and was pushed out.I like the lib dems but they keep f**king their policy's up all for concenus and bringing in known torys as parliamentary candidates and some of their MPs f**k things up by being caught with their trousers down anyway i'm an anarchist so should'nt give a toss things dont change they remain the same.
