I'm pretty sure that the author doesn't "drink" or hang out with people thatdo. I pretty much kill a bottle of Jack Daniels every night before I go out todrink -- as do many of my friends. So, that's, what? 25x 1oz drinks by hiscalculation? So, I die every night by his calculation? I'm pretty certain .40 BAC isn't terminal.Hell, it isn't even enough to make me sleep in and get up late in the AM.?
True, a .4 will only kill half the population that get a BAC that high. I used to work night shift (2300-0700) at an ER on weekends. We would see people with a .4 that would walk and talk and seem otherwise normal. To be able to do that takes a lot of hard work and dedication... The highest I have ever seen in my life: .656, but that person soon lost consciousness and had to be intubated.
I stick with 1 drink an hour the entire night. Hard to get used to since I drink exceptionally fast (done before most hit half) but now that I'm used to slower-paced drinking I drink 1 -1.5 an hour and feel great the entire night. I didn't look too hard at the graph since I already know where my line is but I can say that it took entirely too many "never again" mornings to find my line.

And if I don't follow the chart, I may just end up burying it in a fat chick....

Sweet. Let's go drink until we can't feel feelings anymore.
