engadget.com— While Psystar is probably going down via a court, there's a new kid in town (Argentina, actually) offering ugly-ass Apple clones.

Haha, typical mac user response. Don't care about price or performance, as long as it looks "sexy". Seriously, if you need your computer to have sex appeal there is something very wrong with you.
Aesthetics means a lot, though. It means a sense of design that is good, if you think it's good. Imagine using a butt-ugly laptop that you hated because it was designed poorly, with a loud fan, poor keyboard, poor screen? Think about it, no one wants that. Loud fans alone KILL my computing experience. Going to a Mac Pro from a G5 was WONDERFUL. Do you choose your girlfriends with the same approach? She can cook, she's not much to look at, but it's easier that way. Jeez, mon.
I built a hackintosh that runs FCS for 900 dollars. 3.0 Ghz dual-core, 1 TB of hard drive space, 4 gigs of ram, 8800 GT 512 MB, completely stable. The apple tax is true.
I run a company which produces digital media. We have used Mac, Linux, and also PCs.As someone running a business, I choose Mac because it means considerably less downtime, and employees will not spend as much time trying to shave seconds off of rendering time by disabling windows services and other tweaks……bla bla bla.I have to pay employees for downtime, and I pay them to produce, not tweak their systems.
