Que Apple, and Microsoft lawsuits in 3...2...1.... /sarcasmI think it is great that the open source community is getting into projects like this. It will help reduce the cost of the technology, and will foster more improvements, faster.
Johnny Lee was doing this back in the day! Any amount of open source for multi touch is crucial, with any luck by the time M$ Surface actually becomes a) available b) affordable most people will have heard/supported this kind of thing. Having said that, always interesting to see what the bigger companies do with this sort of grass roots innovation.
