motleymoose.com — Dear Cindy,I noticed that you are now in the passenger seat on the Smear Talk Express when it comes to our military. Shame on you!The one itty bitty teeny tiny piece of honor that your husband had left in this campaign is leaving your two sons who are actively serving out of the smear machine he's conducting. But, you? Hell no.

McCain voted against it, then said he did so because he knew Bush would veto it, as a point of fact.

While I know Mrs. McCain interestingly ignored her own husband's vote against funding the troops because of a time table, I still do not think she is fair game in this election. No candidates' spouse or family is in my opinion.

As a fellow blue star mother, I got chills when John McCain voted AGAINST THE GI BILL because he said young people would not re-up if they had the opportunity to get a college education. I say "Cindy, money doesn't mean anything to you, but that's why most of these kids joined up. They they join the military to make it out of poverty and through college by serving the country. Your son joined up because it's your family business. Our sons joined up over our devastated bodies and empty bank accounts. Stop patting yourself on the back, you and Sarah. It makes the rest of us feel like you are assuming a lot about the rest of us blue star mothers for political gain."
