"[Known issues:] OpenOffice.org will crash after quitting"Uh, yeah. This is an alpha release. Let's not get excited until it goes final, okay?

My favorite part has to be when it deleted the file I was working on and then shut down.

Yes, it will be great when Google docs decides "We will keep all your files and analyze them to show relevant ads".Bookmark this comment for a year later, you will see it happens.Google Docs doesn't even give a heck to your operating systems default browser (Safari), why advertise them for free?

How tabloid of you (the title is a blatant lie). Please people, stop BS'ing a digg by a false headline. Please help the OpenOffice.org team test this DEVELOPMENT PREVIEW RELEASE so they can make a good product for the mac. But do not think this has been RELEASED for MacOS because it hasn't! I appreciate the poster's enthusiasm, but let's not lie about things.

Crash after quitting is not "unable to start". Often times apps will not shutdown properly and will instead crash. Noone said it wouldn't start.

Office 2007 is garbage. They changed the interface way too quickly and when saving a document for Office 2003, it does not even look the same in other word processors.

it will take a while to make it look more native, because the first step is to port it, then to change its looks.
