We voted for the future." This comment reminded me of a similar statement I made myself a couple a times in the past: "ODF is designed for the future, not the past.".What do I mean?

I like the .NET frame work as long as you only work with M$ stuff. The thing I don't like is that it is basically another M$ lock-in.

Stick to formatting conventions rooted 20 years in the past hardly seems like its future-oriented. Unless you're in some sort of time warp and time runs backwards.
