courier-journal.com — Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear recently pushed a case through a state circuit court ordering the seizure of 141 Internet poker and Internet gambling sites' domain names. The concept that domain names of Internet sites operating legally in their home nations can be seized by other nations for violation of local laws is one that should concern us all.

I was at the Kentucky hearing today. Our side had a roomful of lawyers standing strong for our rights. Judge Wingate said he'll rule next Wednesday.

I love the way that the TwinSpires issue was just swept under the mat. They're seizing online gambling domains of companies OUTSIDE the US.

This is ridiculous. What have our representatives become? Have they forgotten what our nation was built upon? The land of the free? To go after a complete non-issue when our nation as so many serious issues right now is bewildering. What is Beshear's agenda? To make it look appear as if he is doing something for us? Ridiculous.
