youtube.com— An incredibly original performance where Beck's band is seated at a dinner table playing bottles, plates and glasses as percussive instruments. Don't miss it!

I think Beck's made very few albums that weren't great. I never like Loser, but I loved Mellow Gold when a friend gave me his copy. I was excited by Odelay from the start because of the Dust Brothers production. They were the producers for the Beastie Boys album Paul's Boutique which is still one of my favorite albums, and their production work worked very well on that album. Mutations started of slow, but is something I've come back to consistently over time. I immediately loved Midnite Vultures, liked Sea Change which grew into love over the course of a year, and think Guero was criminally underrated. Beck's definitely not for everyone, but he's one of the artists I find myself listening to the most. I saw his performance here in Austin where he did the same thing he did on SNL, and I loved it (as you can guess, I'm biased). One of the better live performances I've seen lately, and I see quite a few.I'd always thought it was Stereopathic as well, don't know how I've mistaken that for so long.

lol, it's funny how some people don't get or dislike beck, but the fans are walking encyclopedias.
