Dubbing is standard fare for any major event. You think performers really sing during concerts in the US or during the Super Bowl half-time shows? Anyone that finds this news shocking should really crawl out of their hole more... this is standard fare in the US and I don't see people complaining about it when it happens here.

people who lip synch normally do it to their own songs and to their own voices. here, the chinese had a "uncute" girl with a great voice sing and pass of a commercial child actress who is considered "cute" to be the face.
