torrentfreak.com — One of, if not the oldest BitTorrent communities still around today has been targeted by police and anti-piracy officers. The owner of FileSoup, one the most enduring sites since the introduction of the BitTorrent protocol, was arrested by police and denied his phone call and legal representation for more than seven hours.

At the rate they are closing down bit torrent sites, I'm not sure the bit torrent community can keep up putting up new ones. Perhaps bit torrent is truely at its end? Sad days.

No, I don't, because there really isn't cameras everywhere. I live in an area that the Lib Dems/Conservatives dominate in, and clearly it works. The towns and one city in this county all have a few cameras, but nowhere near every street corner (I reckon some of those are privately owned too). There is no publicly owned CCTV in any of the villages, and there are the usual privately-owned trafficmaster cameras on the A-roads.Besides, I'm not usually paranoid enough to look out for cameras. I have far better things to do than worry whether I am viewable (in extra low def and size) on a monitor that might occasionally be glanced at.

No - perhaps you need to brush up on the reading comprehension."The towns and one city in this county all have a few cameras" - is that the countryside now?I know it doesn't fit in with your idea that there are cameras and thought police on every corner, but it is completely true. Try moving to an area that isn't Labour controlled (not a lot of cities then) or learn to be less paranoid.
