I've never liked Olberman and judging how he constantly gets pwned by O'Reilly and cnn in the ratings, the majority of those with a neilson box dislike him too. Wait, this just in. NBC's official response. "de de de"

Up against CBS's tired "60 Minutes," I seriously doubt that.

Oh, yeah, I'd love to see O'Reilly try to shut up Mike Ditka. He couldn't shut up Geraldo Rivera!

He's going to illustrate his political points with a television screen and yellow overlay marker, Ericpp. *nod* Maybe John Madden will occasionally come on, wiggle his fingers, and yell "POLITICS!!!!!"

"If this is successful, I hope that the other networks do not follow a trend of airing opinion-heavy news programs."Err... Cable news has been overwhelmingly dominated by that format for years. The big four networks are filthy with overblown punditry on their morning "news" shows. Olbermann's one of the few news personalities who actually asks substantive follow-up questions of his guests and "experts" and acknowledges that there is an empirical reality out there. It seems like there's only room for one of these guys on each news networks. Chris Wallace has his moments on Faux News and Anderson Cooper on CNN is at least as interested in real news as he is in striking model poses for the camera.
