torrentfreak.com— After a turbulent day the admin of the raided OiNK.cd was released from custody. At this point it is still unclear what the legal consequences will be, but it is good to see that OiNK is back home.

I'm sure OiNK had backed everything up, and is probably ready to ship database/information to servers in Sweden. He knew exactly what he was doing, when you build such an amazing community (especially for the years it remained operational), you think about what could possibly happen and you take precautionary measures, surely. He couldn't have thought he'd be immune forever.
You know, you can always download the whole album FOR FREE FROM THEIR SITE. You don't have to give them anything. Please spell out how this is ripping you off. Beyond that, they don't have to release a DAMN THING! You are acting like it is your right to receive free records. Stop being a whiny baby and enjoy the excellent album they released. There are plenty of more worthwhile things to be pissy about.
If you buy into the corporate worldview, then yes, you are taking "other people's stuff." Do a search for "Van Gogh" in Google Images. Are you offended by what comes up? If you want free duplications of art, should you paint it yourself? Why is your view of visual art different than that of audio art? If it's the age of the art in question, then when should, say, The Beatles's catalog become public domain instead of passed from estate to estate? If an artist wanted his images removed from the Internet through use of a governing body, would you support such an effort?
What kind of bulls**t comment is that? Are you just some disgruntled assh**e who couldn't figure out how to get invited, so you just choose to flame the guy and his site? How about doing some actual reading on the situation too? They weren't ads on oink, and the guy had a job; he was an IT worker. Im sure he made decent money and most likely made more in a week, than your brainless ass could in a year. I think you are confusing the stereotypical 'unemployed guy in his mom's basement' with yourself. GG, moron.
There is no sensible person that could realistically say that stealing is good. Why would people go to the lengths of potentially being sued, dealing with potentially corrupt software and then dealing with the crack as opposed to just purchasing it? There are people that steal for the hell of it sure - but one can only hope the majority of users will pay if they feel what they are paying is worth it. How much is CS3? Instead of trying to somehow reverse how people use information and acquire content, how about revising how you deal with the new marketplace, adjust revenue streams... Simply making the case that you must stop people stealing and by doing that you must just sue people is obviously not working....
