squidoo.com — This is a project to memorialize and help people visualize the losses in the Iraq war. Cranes are being made from polymer clay to represent the U.S. soldiers, vellum for the coalition forces, news articles for the journalists, and waxed paper for the Iraqi civilians. The idea is to help people make the numbers concrete, and reflect on the cost.
