I was replying to the "gives them delusions of popularity and makes them think people like them" comment, as it seemed that Drood brought that up, I didn't expect him to know anything about generating ad revenue or whatever, lots of users on Digg can be stupid at times you know. .

I wasn't advocating it, I was just letting him know it wasn't done out of the necessity to appear cool which he emphasized on, but had to point out the obvious in case he didn't realize that like some of the people here that don't realize a whole lot.
