wii.nintendo.com— In the wake of the console being launched in little over a day, the Wii website has been totally redesigned and has more info about the system. Frankly the site looks gorgeous.

if you've checked out xbox emulation and mod scenes, you'll see that there are emus for almost any system prior to playstation and n64. that being said i very much doubt that nintendo can't make a turbografix16 or genesis emulator work when there are countless clean and working emulators out there for them. the "unknown" bit probably means they don't have an exact list of which games they'll have and rather than talking out their ass would rather wait til they're sure.
how about the 30 ps3 articles that got frontpaged yesterday? just wait about another week and we'll be back to our regularly scheduled digg programming. at least until the first major "OMG MY $2000 PS3 JUST DIED FOR NO REASON!!!" article is posted.
