I thought, "what kind of idiot would let the remote slip out of their hands" and then I was playing tennis last night and the remote slipped out of my hand. I guess I'm that kind of idiot! Anyway, I just bought a $4000 TV, so I'm going to be getting these upgraded straps. Thanks for the link.
I ordered myself one just now even though mine hasn't broken yet, I just pulled on it really hard and tugged it and pushed it in and out and it was fine, no breakage, still I want to be on the safe side so I ordered one.
Spot on!If they are getting Wii remotes lodged in their televisions, they MUST listen to emo. I don't think I have heard a more logical statement before in my life!!I bet all of the culprits are members of Sunny Day Real Estate and Hum.
I ordered one, though I don't really think this was all that necessary. As long as you play the Wii with very little shoulder movement it should be fine. They're probably only doing this to counteract the negative "Wii Dangers" sensationalist news stories that have been showing up as of late.
also I think they can probably use the serial number to determine whether your console was purchased before or after they fixed the wiimote issue, and i don't know many stores where you would be able to find a boxed wii, let alone be able to examine it for a serial number.
"I thought, "what kind of idiot would let the remote slip out of their hands" and then I was playing tennis last night and the remote slipped out of my hand."Totally agree, I too was thinking "how hard can it be to hold on to it?" then the other day it slipped out of my hand during a back swing. Luckily I caught it by the end near the blue lights, so the strap didn't even come into play, plus it was pointing away from my TV when it happened but now I see how it could happen. You can bet I filled out that form!

Goodness, why do you think Nintendo is really going through with this? Cause they see the issue and they're fixing it. Deal with it.
