Quick question, what is special about the 700 MHz spectrum? Is it better than say 900MHz or 2.4 GHz?

It was certainly not Cantel. Wikipedia informs us that : Cantel AT&T, A former Canadian mobility company which owned by Rogers Communications and was later renamed Rogers Wireless. I've never heard of that 'Mobility' company. Are you making this up ? ;-) What I remember though, is that Telus bought Clearnet and they still use the original ads with all those animals. Also, Rogers recently bought Fido, so, it's just a big cartel of mobile phone operators up here that can't bother to offer affordable service, let alone decent data plans. I'll stick to good old PSTN !
