wow, fall 2008 can't come soon enough for me. it was a big tease. But I think this will be good for the RPG gamers, as long as its not ported to X360 or ps3 or wii. This is a PC game for adults, the last 2 were designed like that. No offense to the console gamers, but this one is ours, sit back and watch or get a PC.
Some tool on the youtube video posting of the trailer said "lol oblivion with guns".Has it been THAT long since the last Fallout game that there are gamers alive who've never played it? The Fallout series vs. Oblivion is like comparing a fine, well aged wine with bubba's unwashed nuts. I highly encourage anyone who's never played a game in the Fallout series to play it, and then embrace why the vast majority of the RPG gaming community has been waiting with much anticipation for Fallout 3.(and yes, I suppose there's a chance this new company could screw it up. But let's wait and see before we assume that it will be as such. The trailer looked good, and gives me hope that it'll be at least a good attempt on it.)
Well, they wanted to do it up big because it's possibly the most anticipated RPG in the history of the PC RPG. Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior may have gotten people breaking into stores in Japan back in their prime, but on the console no RPG is bigger... and the seething masses of Fallout fans have been waiting for this game for a long, long time... and hoping that these new guys won't piss all over it. If the game's elements are kept as well as the trailer kept them, it'll be good.
It's Myron, baby, Myron! Who couldn't hit the broad side of a battleship with Frank Castle holding the gun for him. I always took that little bastard's guns away and just had him make medical supplies.

Think you might be in the market for a new one a year and a half from now? I will, I dunno about you.
