I was just about to leave for town to pick up an 80GB iPod Classic. Then I decided to check Digg. Australia is getting screwed over again with the exchange rates. $629 for a 32GB touch? I'm not prepared to wait another week for an iPod, no matter how cool they are. I'll be sticking with the 80GB.

32GB Holds alot of music and a few movies, but for an avid ipod user it is impossiable to have that small amount of storage for 500 dollars, I could see something on the lines of 64GB for 500 but thats it.

I just went out and got a 16 gb touch for 300 last week used. I'm wondering if I should put it on craigslist and pony up the money for a new 32 gb one. What do y'all think?

I don't know why I'm being dugg down. I gave ipods a chance...more than once in fact. All of them had some kind of problem, one had a battery issue, another one had a hard drive issue, and the third one had a problem with the logic board. The first one lasted a little under 2 years, and the other two (both 5G) lasted a little over a year. And I'm not the only one that's had problems with ipods. I have friends that had problems with theirs too.Anyway, I am a happy Zune 80gb owner now. Steve Jobs probably hates me anyway.
