Yes, the Toshiba hard drives failing was Apple's fault...? That's the only hardware failure I had, and last time I checked, Apple doesn't make hard drives.
I use a 20" iMac at work and a 24" at home. The 20" sucks hard, has horrible color accuracy and shifts colour ridiculously across the vertical viewing angles. The 24" is fantastic - *almost* as good, IMO, as the 30" Apple Cinema. Whatever Apple was thinking with the 20" screen, they failed.
Just have to qualify my remarks by saying: I've read/been told time and time again that it's Apple's superior computer that is the selling point, people don't buy it for OSX, that's just an add-on. Obviously it's not, you're buying "Apple's superior computer" FOR the OS. I just think that if more people admitted that it was OSX that turned them on, not the designer box, then we'd all know where we stand. I have no problem with OSX, I love it, but if I could buy a box OSX and install it on my "PC" hardware then I would. I don't buy Apple computers for the machine, I buy it for the OS. and the software that runs on that OS.
