To cite but one, Medicare is far more efficient than any private health program in terms of its ROI. There are, of course, many other examples: vaccination production is, for many cases, inefficient unless the government is the intermediary and the customer is the entire nation.You cite economic theory in place of everyday reality. Reality show that government is inefficient at some things, efficient at others, and, in most of the cases, can be either more or less efficient depending on management and market conditions. Reality resists simplistic, dogmatic, binary thinking.
