Obama was told that the press would not be allowed to follow him to the hospital. Once the possibility of using wounded soldiers was taken away, Obama suddenly decided that the visit was worthless.

He would've been criticized if he went, so it was damned if you do and damned if you don't. Both candidates keep making "blunders" like this, but really, you have to ask yourself, whatever happened to the issues?
