news.yahoo.com — To make the government more accountable, Obama said he would post all non-emergency bills online for five days before he signed them into law, allowing Americans a chance to weigh in on the legislation. In addition, he said he would post all meetings between lobbyists and government agencies online.

I don't believe I said RP was increasing public participation I believe I said Obama was. RP is just against big government and its intrinsic effects on our consitiutional rights. I do believe that RPs policy on campaign reform is negligent at best but that's why I'm not voting for him. Libertarian it may sound but it's just an opinion. I hold no aligned affiliation, I go with the flow as best I can and make my decision(s) for voting based on what I can drege up out of the convoluted, overwritten websites of the candidates so I can get at what they plan to do for me and the rest of this country. Just because I would like articles of legislation to readible does not mean I am lazy. I understand your point about the Venezuelan process and I agree that we as people of this country should make it a necessary step on our own to learn about what our democratic process is like, and how to discern what is what. But it does not mean that considerations to make legislative documents easier to get to or easier to comment on in a political active capacity (and I don't mean online forums I mean in congress, getting our opinions into the congressional halls so that our elected officials pay more attention to us and not to the lobbyists, campaign reform would just be the first step) should be construed as lazy.

On Another Note:AP:Answering a question on how he would refocus U.S. troops out of Iraq to better fight terrorism, he said, “We’ve to get the job done there and that requires us to have enough troops so that we’re not just air- raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure over there.”ANOVER, N.H. (AP) - Presidential hopeful Barack Obama was warned by a friendly voter Monday to avoid public spats with his Democratic rivals—but remarks he made later could add fuel to the criticism against him.During a later appearance before about 800 people in Nashua, Obama made a comment likely to further the spats he was warned about.Answering a question on how he would refocus U.S. troops out of Iraq to better fight terrorism, ***he said, “We’ve TO GET THE JOB DO THERE (IRAQ) and that requires us to have enough troops so that we’re not just air- raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure over there.”Earlier this month, Obama drew criticism when he said he would send troops into Pakistan to hunt down terrorists even without local permission, if warranted.A Republican National Committee spokeswoman said Obama’s characterization of the presidential campaign shows he’s unfit to lead.“Unfortunately for Barack Obama, this campaign is not a fraternity hazing ritual, and Americans are not going to elect a rookie politician who has ditched his ‘politics of hope’ mantra and gone on the attack now that he’s dropping in the polls,” Amber Wilkerson said______Did he not just say a week ago..that we should withdraw ALL US troops from Iraq…and go after “al Quada” in Afganistan and Pakistan?????____****And NOW he is saying:“We’ve got to get the job done there” (Iraq)____Talk about a “hillary wannabe”…Its funny how these socialist ~ liberal ~ commies…cannot back up their positions on anything for more than week…until it just falls ALL apart.PEACE!http://iraqsinconvenienttruth.com/2007/08/14/out-of-his-flip-flopping-mind/

But with all the comments he's made, lying after being elected will make sure NO one will trust him ever again.
