If you seriously thought you would know before anyone else you were easily misled.The news media found out when the secret service was deployed to his house. Now think about this for a second: You just choose your VP nomination and he agreed, do youA: Send out a text message to any Tom, Wayne, and Brady who signed up on your site and then send the secret service to his house?B: Protect your VP first by sending the secret service and then send out the message (which by that time was too late since the media picked up on the secret service bit)
