Wait I thought the FISA bill mandated that there be a warrant to spy on American citizens and the Patriot Act was what allowed the warrantless stuff. I thought we were pissed about the telecom immunity. Someone please reply and clear this up for me.
For what it's worth, I won't donate to Obama again because I think the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the ACLU are on top of the immunity issue (and so many other issues as well) and Obama's FISA vote convinced me simply that these 2 organizations deserved my money more than he did.
