I love that Rolling Stone article. They couldn't have vetted him more completely.Really shows in perspective what a douche McCain really is. That link needs to be posted everywhere we can think to post it. :-)
"You can tell alot about people by the friends they keep."So no one here would question FOX even though it's owned by a man who owns the largest collection of sensationalism and yellow rags around the world. If association makes you guilty, then ownership must give me the right to shoot you sight.
drshorty,"If Rezko were an innocent man Obama would not look bad at all."Why deal in hypotheticals? If Bush hadn't attacked Iraq, he might be popular now.Truthiness, I know you hang out here a lot, but to bring you up to speed, Rezko was convicted. Thought you'd like to know.
The Gramm Leach Biley Act did not remove regulation and oversight. It was an important step toward bringing America's financial services industry firms into the new realm of telemarketing and electronic commerce. The distinctions between their products had blurred to the extent that each financial services firm could offer better services, at a lower cost, to customers if the 66-year-old firewalls were taken down. At the same time, S. 900 allowed these firms to better compete in an increasingly global economy. As to regulations,it gave the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Federal Reserve Board dominant roles in the new system. In addition, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a part of the U.S. Treasury Department, would maintain significant oversight of national banks. Individual states would continue to regulate the insurance industry. The fact is that this act did nothing to create the financial crisis compared to the debacle created by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- both of which the Democrats and Barack Obama were deeply involved in.

No answers and silent digg downs. Guess the Obama bury brigade isn't any better than the McCain bury brigade.
