washingtontimes.com — It seemed among the easiest of his transparency pledges and is entirely under his control, but President Obama is finagling his promise to post bills on the White House Web site for comment for five days before he signs them.

Obama is not Bush and his cronies. Obama is actually doing something to help our country from the disaster you neo-cons did. Quite frankly, me like most patriotic Democrats don't care or need to know what Obama is doing 24/7. We know he is working hard for us, unlike the previous administration who only worked for Haliburton.

Damn. The new stupid environment bill was only up for a day and a half or something like that. Everything seems to be a dire emergency like the world is going to end of we don't pass schip bill, environment bills, tarp funds, bailouts, etc. I know you all called Bush a fear monger, but I think Obama is continuing that title with all his scare talk about the economy collapsing and oh they're to big to fail crap he shoves in our faces.

You have got to be kidding me. How many times did we hear about how the Right just blindly followed whatever Bush/Cheney said or did. Truth is that a lot of Conservatives opposed a lot of what Bush did.Now here you are saying you don't really care what Obama says or does you just know that he is doing the right thing.By the way, several of Obama's policies are the same as Bush's:Obama filed a legal brief arguing that the President can hold suspected terrorists indefinitely, without trial.Obama decided to continue military tribunals, after first saying he would stop them.Obama still has not done anything to limit warrantless wiretapping (he even voted in support of it in 2008)Obama said he would release the "torture" photos and then reneged on that.

What politicians say when they're trying to get elected, and what they do once they get elected are two completely different things, but this is common knowledge right?

It's beginning to appear that this administration treats promises just like any other politician treats them. So, the "change we can believe in" is just the color of his skin?
