sensico.wordpress.com — I don’t know if this is going to be a continued strategy of the Obama campaign, but if it is then this is a great strategy. Take a McCain ad and debunk it. This one is about McCain’s latest attack ad, the one portraying Obama as a celebrity, the one that doesn’t include Paris and Britney.

Digger1123 was just trying to demonstrate that he's as good at coming up with falsehoods as the McCain advertising people.

If you can't sit though a simple video long enough to grok the difference between McCain's misrepresentations and the real facts without cropping it down to a 4 word sound bite, then that's your failing, not Digg's.

Unlike conservatives, we aren't heartless cynics who are convinced nothing will ever get better so why bother trying.

This sort of ad isn't really intended to get swing voters directly. It simply reinforces/reaffirms the stance of Obama's base supporters, and provides them with the information they need to debunk this type of attack ad. So the next time, Johnny is chilling in the living room with his two parents (who are likely less informed and more easily swayed by misinformation because they don't have the facts at hand), Johnny can say, "f**k McCain and all his misinformation, Mom, Dad, you shouldn't believe this asshat's manipulative lies. Here's what Obama really has in mind for policy reform, and this is why McCain sucks, and will continue to suck the life out of this country."Then there are the Obama speeches, press releases, and the TV ads that are more appropriate for the independent audience.

We could start by not being the police for the entire world. War costs more than any other endeavor-- and so many of our great President's have warned us of this, from the drafter of our Constitution, James Madison, to the Cross of Iron speech by President Eisenhower. We could always just say, oh my! the fiscal indiscipline of so-called conservatives have doubled our national debt and doubled the size of federal bureaucracy-- oh dear, we just have to LET the levees fail, the schools turn into horror shows, the bridges fall and the roads disappear.OR we could decide to take on the problems that face us NOW (and not wait until it is too late to do much of anything) improve, repair and update our infrastructure so that we can COMPETE in the global economy, make certain our children can COMPETE in the global economy too, with skilled jobs that they get after a GREAT education. We could also stick our head in the sand like a bunch of ostriches and vote for a man who will cut taxes for the wealthy even more, keep us in Iraq through the indefinite future and just PRAY that no emergencies happen, because we will DEFINITELY be running a higher deficit if we are lulled to sleep by a bunch of meaningless GOP mantras again. Those mantras are meaningless. When conservatives double the national debt, the size of the bureaucracy and start nation-building (and incompetently too), those conservatives are not following any of the mantras anymore (except for more fiscal indiscipline with more tax cuts for the well heeled all the while ignoring the fact that our middle class is in serious trouble).I used to argue that these RADICALS are not conservatives. I won't argue that point anymore. If efficient government, fiscal discipline, rational foreign policy (without nation building, especially incompetently done), respecting our Constitution, and our Institutions, ethics and morality are "liberal" now, so be it! I'm a liberal.

You obviously did not watch the video. The entire ad. by Senator McCain was false and misleading as this video proves.
