I intend to as well before too much longer (perhaps for good this time) but there are other ways to do it and sometimes pushing someone towards something they are reluctant to do only strengthens that reluctance. If you really want to help convince people to stop smoking or point out the harms, you have to do it in a more non-chalant and less negative/abrasive way. Shouting slogans from whatever self-help tape or whatever is annoying to those who didn't actually decide to quit yet and sometimes can seem a bit derogatory :P.Anyway, that is just my two cents. Perhaps you should consider reading up on persuasion/debate. Not saying it will be all that effective (for me it usually isn't) but not sure whether that is mostly because of my audience or my implementations. At any rate, it will help keep yourself more honest and less offensive--My objective 2 cents for the day
