powerlineblog.com — Governor Palin's decision to put Ayers on the table as an issue is forcing the Obama campaign to respond. Obama appears to be admitting that if he knew about Ayers' terrorist history it would be an error in judgment to form a close association with him. In short, Obama didn't vet Ayers.

Are you serious?1. He has never lied (in terms of politics)2. He has never voted against the Constitution3. He has never voted to raise taxes4. He has a very sensible foreign policy based on the advice of the founding fathers5. He doesn't want to regulate the internet6. He wants a smaller federal government7. He wants to abolish the IRS8. He wants to get rid of the ineffective Dept. of Education and give every family a $5,000 tax break per child per year for private school.9. He wants to get rid of the federal reserve10. Everything else: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_positions_o ... What makes you think he isn't qualified?

They don't. People overstate the President's influence on the economy. We're pretty much boned no matter what. But at least we will be boned with a smart person in the White House.

I see a lot of propaganda, half-truths and deceptions used as a way to create fear and terror in the voters, which is then used by politicians to advance their agenda. Terrorism isn't just suicide bombers. Anyways suicide bombers don't have the power to destroy liberty, only politicians can do that.

@MommaKatz: Don't forget Democrats think government can solve problems and they don't care how much they have to steal or how much they have to regulate. They scare people into thinking if it wasn't for government intervention we'd all be starving in the streets. It's the same mentality.

Clearly this thread, judging by the polarization of all the Pro-McCain comments being voted up whilst all the anti-McCain comments being voted down, kicking a pebble under the wheel and bucking the trend of the predominantly pro-Obama digg was a 'pro-McCain drive'.In light of this and my comment 5 days ago being upvoted allow me to elaborate. It was the McCain camp that used the 'turning the page' excuse with regards to the small matter of the economy. I imagine the sound the point made sounded something like 'WHOOOOOSHH' as it sailed over the heads of the McCain neo-republican bury mob. (Seriously, neo-republican - you can't claim to be GOP, as it in no way resembles anything of the sort anymore. There is no Good Old Party aspect to it; it's become twisted in recent years beyond measure & recognition in regards to the bedrock republican patriots on which it was conceived). So if the McCainites thought that the 'turning the page' excuse was lame then you need a little introspection. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Same applies - if you thought it silly for Obama to turn the page it was equally silly for McCain's camp to try and draw a line under the economy. Man up and confess....you don't want to talk about the economy because you know it is a battlefield on which the Republican party will lose.•One more thing in the spirit of fairness (When it comes to voting I am neither pro-Obama or pro-McCain) Team Obama for the record did not say 'turn the page'. The Obama camp addressed the unfounded allegations leveled at it....AND SO DID THE McCAIN CAMP!!!! Seen the youtube video of McCain being booed recently as he tried to play down the attack ads that had people at his rally talking about Obama the Arab and Obama the terrorist? McCain had to testify on Obama's behalf. Evidently McCain has realised that his own campaign is being hurt by these so called terrorist revelations. The Digg McCain team apparently isn't as quick of the mark!!!
