time.com — Barack Obama sat down to an interview with Fox News' Bill O'Reilly on Fox tonight and ? shockingly ? it looked like a TV interview. Though he was speaking with Democrats' most-reviled host on their most-disparaged network, no one Photoshopped his head on Osama bin Laden's body or produced Jeremiah Wright from behind a secret panel.

Nice to see that Obama and O'Reilly could have a civil discussion... this way they were actually able to discuss policy instead of mindlessly bickering. I think that this will reflect well on Obama and possibly negatively on McCain, who canceled an interview with Larry King due to a CNN correspondent questioning one of his aides about Gov. Palin's foreign policy experience. According to the article, O'Reilly and Obama met despite this:"Did O'Reilly get in a scuffle with an Obama staffer on a New Hampshire rope line? Hey, who hasn't?"

Hilarious title, best of all the many highlighting this event.

So, Obama is able to go and face the nastiest Republican host in the country while McCain refuses to go on Larry King and play softball. He trumped up his captivity story for the 9,000,000th time and showed what a tough guy he used to be, but he can't face Larry King because someone asked Tucker Bounds tough questions and he's afraid of the same? Meanwhile, Palin won't give an interview at all, except to People. Nice. That's the kind of transparency I'm looking for after 8 years of Bush/Cheney.
